Who are you? And what have you done with Sarah Conner?
A chance for everyone to introduce themselves.

Well that's Rob (good job introducing yourself there, by the by). I'm Diarmuid, and I think that this board might just work. Maybe...

Well that's Rob (good job introducing yourself there, by the by). I'm Diarmuid, and I think that this board might just work. Maybe... Give it a bit more 'Oomph!' than just your name, dear boy! My full-on, no holds barred introduction is on it's way.

At a guess, I'd say that Aonghus is viking, considering that he has a hat (in his own words).

Okay, oomph! Let's see... I'm tall, and study Engineering. I'm currently pissed off at the structural complexity of my local church. I play hurling, occasionally well, and gaelic football, rarely well. I like to read, but way too often don't. Currently I'm working my way (very slowly) through Don Quixote, by Cervantes. I write for nós*, and would strongly encourage everyone to buy it. I've finally got myself some work, giving some Leaving Cert maths grinds in May. Will that do?

Rob's genius shines through again. I am indeed Aonghus, hatmaster extraordinaire, and token musician. Which is what I pretend to do in college. THe reality is getting tipsy in the pav with seond years. all in all, life's a blast.

My name's Tom and my aim in life is to re-animate Freud's corpse, introduce it to 4chan and watch the events that unfold as a result. Failing that, however, I'm firmly set on becoming a Compton librarian - the most do-nothing job known to man (which, as you'll all know, would suit me down to the ground):
9:00 - open library 10:23 - dodge gunfire 14:06 - answer police's questions 20:00 - close library

Not only that, but through necessity I'd quickly become very handy with various weapons, each as ridiculous as the next. M249 wielding librarian anyone? I smell an idea for an action movie brewing...

*waves* I'm Caoimhe and teachers like me Um... I'm a redhead, short-ish (and very conscious of my height, for some reason)... I do English and History in college and am a hopeless romantic (which is defnitely a flaw rather than a virtue). I read manga, enjoy films and I can get drunk on a can of cider.... (a talent, in my books). I am currently procrastinating instead of essay-writing... which is quite typical of me... Diarmuid - can you buy nos*? Or is it just online?

You're not that short, surely? Maybe you are and I'm just so used to everyone being shorter than me (bar Diarmuid) that I don't distinguish between the various heights below mine, though.

Mih... I'm average-height... 5'4''. So no, not tiny. But I generally feel short because
a. most of my friends are taller than me b. ALL BOYS ARE GIANTS.
the end.

I can just picture the embodiment of sleaze bursting out of your chest once it's absorbed all your life-force and latching onto the nearest person appropriate for leeching.

Stephen Fry's around my height (6'6" ish), and there was another question on the first page....
Oh, yes you can buy nós*, it's available in the siopa leabhar above the conradh and (apparently) in the student union shop in both Trinity and UCD. And priced at a very reasonable €3-something, I might add.
