I can just picture the embodiment of sleaze bursting out of your chest once it's absorbed all your life-force and latching onto the nearest person appropriate for leeching. It was too easy. Just too easy.

I'm changing my name to 'Gothamite' because it's easier to login that way and it's pretty much my name everywhere else on the Internet.
I got really sick of having to type 'Rob Ó Conchúir' all the time.

Ahh, an explanation to the bizarre series of events which led to your new alias. I will re-iterate, however, that I think a board where people have their real names as usernames is just plain better. Give it some thought.

You could just be 'Rob', right? That would be much easier to type than Gothamite, surely?

Hi, my name is Mick, I've been abusing substances for 25 years. I mainly abuse Nitrogen, but use oxygen sometimes too. I've been open about having a problem for the last 6 months... It hasn't curbed my abuse of these substances though.
(Mamas may not actually be on my face, terms and conditions apply to mamas on my face. Mamas on my face my go up as well as down)

I'm a demon for the aul dihydrogen monoxide, street name: 'Water'. It's a terrible affliction. If I go too long without taking it, my mouth gets all dry and I start to get a headache. It's awful! I've even heard of people dying from withdrawal from this 'H20'. One guy went cold-turkey for a month straight. They found him dead in his room with nothing but undiluted ammonia soaking his corpse... ugh.

I'm Maxwell. Rob and I used to post on the same comic book forum (though, really, it was more of a self-referential, masturbatory board for hateful narcissists...but I digress) and he bullied me into joining this one too. I like bowling and sex. I also read a lot. I think that suits are cool. I spend hours upon hours every day on my personal upkeep, mostly ensuring that my hair is sufficiently glamorous. That's pretty much all there is to know about me.

And that is truly a masterful description of Ultimate Central and its oft-idiocy.

I'm Shane and to combat the tyranical banning of Diarmuid I demand moderatorship!

Diarmuid wasn't banned, tyrannically or otherwise. You were banned for personal abuse of a moderator, and again for incessant and willful trolling. Good day.

And surely they need to be periodically banned to keep some semblance of respectability?

Only temporarily. If they're banned forever there will be no trolling...

I have never denied it. But I rarely voice my thoughts. I may have a sick mind, but my mouth is pure and innocent... if you don't count swearing.

That's actually the first thing I said to her, upon seeing that name. She didn't really see how that was the case though, and likened it more to velvet (as Aonghus said). That woman is far too innocent sometimes...

There are three reasons for this name. 1.) The Aqua Velva cocktail (and dance) 2.) My obsession with velvet 3.) How it sounds similar to 'Lavelle' (my second name) You are scum.
