Looking to do a site revamp before exams start and was wondering who'd be in favour. I'd be restarting the forum basically, but with a few new alterations like skins etc. I'll be trying to get back to the original intention I though the forum had: namely, a place to post anything and everything we'd normally either tell, show or discuss with each other in real life.
It should take a day or two, and the site'll be in maintenance mode for that period. I'll try to distinguish the boards more too, so that they don't leak out onto each other like what I feel happened with Fratcave V. 1.
I'll also probably rename the site, as 'Fratcave' seems to be getting some flak.

You're going to have to more specific before I go one way or another. Are we staying on Proboards? If so, why does the site need to be restarted? Can't we just add to what we have now? Or do you just want to wipe out all remenants of Rob?
I do support a renaming of the site, for what it's worth.

Well we'd stay on Proboards, unless you've a better alternative, and no, I wouldn't be really restarting the site in the strictest sense. I'd just get rid of all the boards and put in new ones (although they'd pretty much be the same, just with more specific threads or with simply more of them). I'm not sure why I want to do this, but Rob fecking off to that board Maxwell started has nothing to do with it, I assure you. And I'm actually not being sarcastic there.
I just think that seeing as how we're under new management, as it were, the place needs a new feel.
And while I don't mind people joining that we've never met in real life, per se, I would prefer if it was kept to people that we actually know... just saying is all. I mean, this is meant to be a cave of Frats, and aren't frats, by definition, an elitist group with a penchant for clubs?

What, Maxwell started a board and is stealing our members? Well I think this calls for pretty decisive action so. You're the Guardian, get on it!
What boards do you want to change? I reckon the selection we have at the moment is pretty exhaustive without any serious overlap.
EDIT: I'm not sure if you deleted Maxwell before or after this post, but either way the decisive action you went with seemed a little over-cooked. Getting rid of people willy-nilly like that is worse than most of what Rob got up to...

You say getting rid of people like it's some heinous crime. Which it's not. And anyway, if we move to a new board, which I can see being a distinct possibility, we can just post a message saying where we're gone to and nobody's the wiser.
I'm still drunk though... so...
Oh man.... last night... oh man...

I'm still pretty much here, I'm just not really bothered doing any of the moderation for the time being.
Maxwell's board is pretty much just as good as this, so I'll be hopping from one to the other.
Speaking of whom, it was a bad idea to delete inactive members. At least if they have an account, they'll post the odd time, but if you delete them, they're not going to be bothered enough to ask you to re-activate their account. Maxwell has told me this much and he's right.
As for a 'revamp', I think the site's pretty much superior in its simplicity and you don't need to add or change too much, because if you do, there'll just be a load of empty boards where no one posts anything (case in point: the fiction board). Obviously everyone's going to say they want more of this and more of that, but the chances of people actually posting anything in new boards is slim. My recommendation to you would be to change the titles of all the boards, but still have them as basically the same thing.
Also, we need more and better skins. I'll get around to making one eventually, but you've got the skills I don't, Tom.
EDIT: Last night wasn't even slightly as crazy as how drunk you are, today. What happened while I was asleep?

Well first of all, did you SEE how much I drank?
Second of all, I never actually wanted to be admin, and I'm not really liking it now that I am. I say Diarmuid should get the job.
Third of all, watching the Office makes hangovers manageable. Fact.
Forthly, I didn't realise that Ricky Gervais produced the US one... interesting...
And finally, yeah you're probably right about the accounts things. Nothing I can do now though. What's done is done.

Yep. Gervais even wrote some of the earlier episodes and has been an executive producer through the whole thing. But I digress...

I told you deleting accounts what as a bad idea. Hasty, hasty, hasty Tom.
