I'm really getting tired of this cat-and-mouse game of swearing and l33t-speaking and trying to get you all to stop, so I'm getting rid of the swear filter.
It's clear to me now that none of you are sophisticated enough to leave all of that stuff out of your sentences, and it breaks my heart every time you all go to such great lengths to say the most over-used word in (probably) any language, so I might as well just let you do it.
I feel sorry for you all. Feel free to create an entire thread of disgusting sexual descriptions and vicious personal attacks.
And I apologise in advance to Dónal to the incalculable amount of rubbish insults with which Shane (and probably others) are going to bombard you.
Also, because everyone seems to be against me and everything I stand for, Tom is now the Guardian of the site. Enjoy!

Sorry Rob... Although I suspect this has already been done somewhere... ¬.¬ Still, sorry to have disappointed your deals Rob. You're still going to be posting though, right? *insert puppy-dog expression here*

Sorry, "you all"? I think the only time I've been caught out by the swear filter was when you edited my post, and that hardly counts.
Anyway, didn't realised you were so annoyed by the whole situation, sorry to see you get so down about it. In hindsight, might inviting us to fill it with "rubbish and drivel", or whatever it was, not have been such a great idea? And congrats to Tom and the promotion; try to maintain some sort of standards, yeah?

Sorry, "you all"? I think the only time I've been caught out by the swear filter was when you edited my post, and that hardly counts. I knew you'd ask me that and my actual, honest reason is that I didn't want to have to write 'except Diarmuid' after every sentence. I'll concede to that and I've deleted the site opener. I guess I didn't realise how much I didn't want any of that. If Tom is a success, I'll stand down altogether and relinquish all control over the site to him. Maybe then after a month or two, we could let Diarmuid be admin and so on and so forth, to keep the boards fresh. I wouldn't even say I'm 'down' about it, I'm just fed up enforcing rules that no one is bothered following and at the end of the day, don't matter a damn in the great scheme of things. I want people to still be interested in this, so to keep it fresh, I'm letting someone else run it for a while. I think this is a great thing.

Actually, considering that the site isn't actually paid for by anyone, and that we are all essentially equal contributors at this point, doing admin and moderating by rotation isn't a bad idea at all. I'll happilly relinquish my moderatorship at some point ads part of a rotation policy, for what it's worth*.
*Although let's agree on some bare minimum standards before we do that. And if the name is changed to anything with freaks or vampire in it I'm outta here.

Fine by me. Although I worry, Diarmuid, that you inderestimate mine and Kweeva's originality and understanding of copyright law a little bit there!
