I have conflicting feelings toward GW at the moment. I kinda want to keep collecting, but I've already ammassed a silly amount of figures, and they're so expensive... And the new 40k rules don't really make me wanna play as much either

I've been toying (no pun intended) with the idea of starting collecting again, but my pocket just won't let me. As soon as I have a decent, steady income, I'm sure I'll fall back into the watery abyss of 40k and all its lovelies. As for White Dwarf nostalgia-trips, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Codex nostalgia trips too!

Maybe if you didn't switch armies so often you would have one good one as opposed to many disparate ones.

Also you can just use paint pots! (private joke)

Ah now. If you can use blocks of Styrofoam as tanks, you can use paint pots as stormtroopers. And yeah, you're probably right about that whole disparaging army thing. Each army was just so inviting and lovely in so many ways...

I used to get the space marines. Still have them actually, bout 40 - 50 or so with a few tanks and bikes. Easy to paint, inexpensive, the best in battle. I once painted a complete set of terminators in one day....................... maybe they didnt look the best though.
