I knew Peach would have to appear... Solid Snake, MGS. Even in the newest one when he's old. Mrs. Pacman. ;D

Otacon?... hmm, yeah I guess I would. In the new ones anyway. Too snivelling in the old ones.

Honourable mentions:Setsuke - Soul Calibur III (How could I forget!? She's got the looks, but remains markedly more dignified - this picture not being an accurate representation of what she actually looks like - than the likes of Ivy or Taki) # ANYONE'S cool when they're a cyborg Ninja, Maxwell. I forgot to mention the 'L shape' in Tetris. That guy gets me so hot.

Just as long as you don't fancy Raiden... *shudder* or worse yet, Raikov Oh, come on. Raiden is cool when he's a cyborg Ninja. Cyborg 009 is the only cyborg for me. :} ... Come to think of it: there was a Cyborg 009 game I think. I never actually had the fortune of playing it though, so I feel like I don't have the right to post him or something.

Yeah, there was a PS game of it, and a SNES one too. I've got the SNES rom of it, but I haven't played the PS version yet.

Unless you're a bad person like Tom, and use an emulator (I do the same thing...) you won't be able to play it without a Famicom and an imported copy.

The SNES one is the one I'd heard about. Actually, my ex had it. He hadn't even heard of Cyborg 009 before I came along but really liked the game. You know what, I'm putting him in: He's the hot one, of course.

I love the casual stereotyping in Cyborg 009 ... Black guy who's good at running, strong and silent Native-American, a German loaded to the brim with guns, a fat, Chinese chef, a British cyborg with the 007 cyborg code ... there are probably a few others, but you get the point.
(Note: not a criticism btw. I'd probably do things the same way)

But yeah, it was made in.. the sixties or something. You couldn't make something like that now. I mean, they had to dub the old Tom and Jerry episodes because the voice of the house-maid was so racist.

I used to love how racist that maid was... and how racist that whole thing was in general. I remember reading Rupert the Bear comics from ages back and being shocked at how racist they were too.

The manga was first serialized in the 60's but didn't find any real popularity until the 70's after all of the TV movies were made. [/anime geek] A less known fact is that Shotaro Ishinomori, the mangaka behind Cyborg 009 also created the immensely popular Japanese stock character, Kamen Rider, and if you look at his earliest incarnations, most of the secondary characters are also extremely racist.

R. Crumb handbook? Anyone who has a handbook named after them MUST be worth a look!
R. Mutt is the guy I was thinking about earlier, btw. You can see how I'd confuse the two.

Yep. What with the 'R.'and everything.
Ehm, yeah, 'handbook' is kind of an odd title for it, I think. Because it's pretty chunky and heavy and not for tourists at all.

It allows you, however, to respond to the question "Who's R. Crumb?" with "RTFM, n00b!"
(even if it isn't technically a manual)
