Your Top-5 video game characters here (pictures would be nice too )
5. Mike Toreno - GTA: San Andreas
His dialogue is hilarious, his missions are the most fun to play and he's voiced by fukking James Woods! He'll always stand out as my favourite character from the GTA series.
4. 'Old' Link - Legend of Zelda
After the quite frankly embarrassing remodelling of Link into a small chibi-esque toddler, Nintendo returned with this badass mofo. It probably helps that he's also the star of the best Zelda game by far: Twilight Princess.
3. Naked Snake - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
I'll always remember Metal Gear Solid 3 as being the MGS that I enjoyed the most - whether it be for the game itself or the context in which I was playing it (a week alone in the house, having just bought Snake Eater, eating nothing but whole chickens, coke and pasta) - and it's protagonist as being my favourite of all the Snakes.
2. Auron - Final Fantasy X
Never in all of my gaming career have I encountered a character with as much cool, as much badass and as much awesomeness as Auron. With his shades, his whopper sword and his orgasmic voice, he almost topped the list.
1. Generic Pokémon Trainer - Pokémon series
At least 50% of my gaming life has been spent playing the Pokémon games (or one of its many incarnations) and as such, I had to give first place to this wonderful 'character'. Just think about it, how cool would it be if, when you turned 18 (and yes, I know they left younger than that, but Pokémon or no, a person needs education before going out into that big bad world!), you set off on a life-long journey to train dragons, wolves and hunks of rock to do your bidding. I don't know about you guys, but I'd totally dig that.
