As opposed to hijacking the other thread......
I know, the shock of me doing something on this forum that isn't just a post about how Rob is an emotional, womanly, nerdy, arrogant, (need a new word for internet smart, as in not really smart in real life, just people who spend to much time on the internet smart)....
Sorry going off topic, post your top 5 albums:
Appetite for Destruction Moon Safari-Air Transformer-Lou Reed Morrison Hotel-The Doors Come Down 1997 version-The Dandy Warhols
I'm going to add these for the laugh as well:
Top 6 soundtracks(or musical scores):
Apocalypse Now Dazed And Confused Easy Rider O Brother Where Art Though Paris Texas-Ry Cooder Everything by Ennio Morricone
Top 5 greatest hits or compilations of 1 artist:[/b]

U2 18 and The Kinks Greatest Hits are both great alright. I'll compose some full lists at some point, but things that'll definitely be on it are the above plus The Best of Bruce Springsteen - 3 discs of Pure Gold.

Ugh. Top five albums? This is going to be so much harder than the top ten songs. T_T"
I approve of Moon Safaru, Morrisson Hotel, Apocalypse Now, Dazed and Confused, Easy Rider, Rotten Apples, Substance, Fever to tell Sgt Pepper and Doolite.
I do not approve of the Kinks' greatest hits... But then, I have all their albums, so I know how much it's missing.

A come on now, a lot of the kinks albums are pretty poor stuff, I have the village green preservation society and a few others and I found that they never quite matched up to the greatest hits I found in my attic. Also I personally think it's easier to pick albums then songs, songs change order in my mind everyday while albums are more of a consistent thing.

I never said they're all good, God knows a lot aren't. ( Schoolboys in disgrace anyone? Even the cover art is an absolute cringe) I'm just saying there's a lot missing from the greatest hits.
